Police investigate 2 break-in attempts

HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio (WDTN) – Huber Heights Police are investigating two crime scenes on Brandt Pike.

Police responded to an alarm at Cricket Wireless in the 6400 block of Brandt Pike around 4:15 a.m. on Wednesday.

When they arrived, they found damage to the glass front door of the business.

Investigators say it appeared someone threw a rock through the door.

Nearly 15 minutes later, an officer on patrol found the front glass door of Metro PCS in the 5100 block of Brandt Pike also shattered by a rock.

At both crime scenes, nothing appeared to be taken.

Police say both crimes likely happened between 4-4:30 a.m.

Officers are investigating both criminal damaging incidents as possible attempted breaking and entering scenes.
